American Grown Flowers is a non-profit trade association founded in 2021, dedicated to supporting and promoting the diverse community of flower and foliage farmers across the United States. Every year, consumers spend nearly $27 billion on floral products. Despite a strong preference for locally grown flowers, only a small fraction of what’s sold in the U.S. is actually grown here. Our mission is to change that by educating both consumers and policymakers about the importance of supporting American-grown flowers and foliage.
Our vision is a thriving, sustainable, and resilient flower and foliage farming community in the United States. The American Grown Flowers iconic heart seal helps consumers identify products that are grown domestically, ensuring quality, freshness and the high standards our farmers uphold.
